WordPress seams to be the number one platform for bloggers and it is also gaining popularity in other areas like business web sites, web shops etc. What makes WordPress unique and a really strong choice is the enormous community providing tons of both free and premium themes and plugins. This is great but can also be problematic for some as the massive availability is making it really difficult to make a decision on what theme to use. There are many collection of WordPress themes for bloggers in general, web sites, portfolios, magazines, but I thought it would make sense to help out female bloggers looking for a theme. Making layouts responsive using CSS3 Media Queries are a big part of the work that I’m doing for the Hardboiled Web Design site in the run up to the book’s launch.

Since I started using Media Queries extensively over the last few months, I’ve revised the queries several times for each project, so it made sense to build a boilerplate to use as a starting point.
